MER’s operating qualifications include USCG approved Mobil Transfer Facility in 14 ports, EPA Registered Transporter of Hazardous Waste, USCG Certified OSRO per OPA 90, USCG Certified hazardous substance contractor, as well as Asbestos, Lead, and Mold Abatement Contractor licenses in most east and gulf coast states. MER’s management team is recognized by hundreds of marine customers for their personal attention to each project, responsiveness, and the delivery of a safe and quality work product. The basic accreditation program for all field employees includes; OSHA 40 HR, 24 HR. HAZ. WASTE FACILITY, CONFINED SPACE ENTRY, COMPETENT PERSON TRAINING, FIRST AID, CPR, ASBESTOS WORKER, LEAD WORKER, HM181 HAZ-MAT, OPA 90, fit testing, and medical surveillance.
