MER Connecticut assisted in Connecticut River Watershed Council's Source to Sea Cleanup

As part of Moran Environmental Recovery (MER)'s Environmental Stewardship & Community Involvement Program, MER Newtown assisted in the Connecticut River Watershed Council's Source to Sea Cleanup in Farmington & Bristol, CT.  The clean-up took place on Saturday October 3rd.  MER supplied two roll-off containers for each location, in addition to 11 volunteer personnel to assist in the clean-up and load out of waste material.  Approximately 3.5 tons of trash was removed from both sites, in addition to scrap metal which will be recycled for re-use.
